Fire in Klarenbeek warehouse quickly under control but caused major damage
Ter Riele in Klarenbeek has now determined the cause of last week's fire: the fuse box caught fire. Thanks to a fire-resistant wall, the blaze was contained to part of the building.

"A storage area and classroom burned down," says owner Tonnie ter Riele. "All power went out and smoke got everywhere, which all needs to be cleaned up. Fortunately, we were able to keep working, although it takes a lot of time to get everything organized."
The extent of the damage is still being assessed. The insurance company and a contractor are currently inspecting the site. "Fortunately, we're well insured," Ter Riele adds.
The fire broke out in the night from Wednesday to Thursday in a warehouse on Hoofdweg. The fire brigade quickly brought it under control. "We received so many messages from fellow companies — they were really there for us and offered to help."
