New addition to the GTM Professional lineup

Earlier this year, GTM Professional introduced the compact GTS750 wood chipper for branches up to 7 cm in diameter. Now, the machine manufacturer is launching a heavy-duty tracked chipper for serious work. The new 1800R is equipped with dual Honda engines and tackles rough and muddy terrain to reach even the most challenging locations. A dream for the many professionals working in tree care, according to manufacturer De Wild.

The undercarriage of the 1800R is not new. The already well-established GTM Professional 1300R also runs smoothly on tracks. The 1800R's tracks are powered by a robust Honda GX160 engine. The operator can choose between three forward speeds (1.8, 3.6, and 4.5 km/h) and one reverse speed (1.1 km/h).
Thanks to the undercarriage being only 72 cm wide, this machine can easily maneuver through narrow passages. Loading and unloading into a van or trailer is also a breeze with this control system.

Efficient chipping system

The rotor chipping system that helped build GTM's reputation continues to work as quickly and efficiently as ever. Branches up to 12 cm thick are automatically pulled in and effortlessly processed into fine wood chips. The system is powered by a 21 hp Honda GX630 engine, and the three V-belts provide strong transmission power.

Thanks to the undercarriage being only 72 cm wide, this machine can easily maneuver through narrow passages.

Safety first

The 1800R is certified by an independent inspection institute and meets the highest safety standards, including strict forestry regulations. The machine is equipped with a safety bar that immediately shuts off the engine when pressed in an emergency. Safety switches on both the intake and discharge prevent the machine from operating during maintenance.

Rotatable discharge

To meet all professional needs, this machine is equipped as standard with an hour meter and a 270° rotatable discharge chute. The deflector on the discharge is adjustable up to 100°, so the chips can be blown in any direction.

The new GTS1800R is available from May 2022 via GTM Professional's extensive dealer network, at the attractive price of €13,500 including VAT.
