And NaturaVolt Named as eWeeding Partner

On Tuesday, December 10th, the eWeeding Roller will be officially launched in Ruddington, Nottingham, in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This electric system for weed management, developed by Zasso, was introduced earlier this year in the Benelux by Wimmersson. During the launch, NaturaVolt will be announced as the exclusive partner for this technology in the UK and Ireland.

The eWeeding Roller offers an alternative to traditional weed management methods, which often require multiple treatments or have a negative environmental impact. Using electricity, plant cells are heated, effectively destroying the weeds, including their roots. This approach requires fewer treatments and preserves soil biodiversity.

Efficient and Environmentally Friendly

The eWeeding Roller leaves no residues, emits no CO2, and does not affect underground cables or surrounding infrastructure. This makes it a climate-friendly choice for urban applications such as sidewalks, roads, parking lots, and pedestrian areas.
Additionally, the device is designed with ease of use in mind. Its compact design and side-shift function make it suitable for hard-to-reach places, such as edges and obstacles.

Expansion to New Markets

Over the past eighteen months, the technology has been tested and further refined, according to Michel Wimmers from Wimmersson, the company that introduced the technology earlier in the Benelux. The expansion to the UK and Ireland marks a new step in the spread of electric weed management.

Partnerships for Sustainable Management

The collaboration with NaturaVolt plays a significant role in this launch. NaturaVolt focuses on making environmentally friendly weed management technologies available in the British Isles. With their focus on safety, quality, and minimal environmental impact, they support municipalities, landscape managers, and other organizations in a sustainable approach to weed management.

With this step, an innovative, environmentally friendly solution becomes more widely available for urban environments in Europe.
