SIS Pitches Middle East has recently commissioned a TopChanger XP and BunkerBuddy. The machines will be used for the maintenance of natural grass and hybrid turf surfaces.
By injecting fresh sand into the soil, the soil structure is improved, creating more space for grass roots to develop. In addition, the natural grass and hybrid turf surfaces will be aerated using water pressure. A major advantage of this method is that the soil between the injection holes is also loosened. Both operations cause minimal disruption to play, allowing treatments to be carried out throughout the year without depending on renovation or maintenance periods. By using the VGR BunkerBuddy, mounted on a Dakota 412, the work can be carried out by a two-person team.
