New online series features experts from across the supply chain - from forest management to construction
PEFC Netherlands has launched the online platform 'Hout voor Morgen'. Here, experts from across the entire wood supply chain share their perspectives on sustainable forest management and the responsible use of wood and paper. With this initiative, PEFC aims to demonstrate how certified wood contributes to a liveable world for future generations.

Every two weeks, a new episode is published on houtvoormorgen.nl, in which an expert talks about their work within the chain - from forest owner to builder or policymaker.
First episode: forest management in practice
The first episode was filmed at Weldam Estate in Markelo. In it, Debora Flier, PEFC group manager at the Union of Forest Groups, discusses the impact of sustainable forest management. The Union represents members managing around 500,000 hectares of forest and natural areas. Flier supports forest owners in obtaining and maintaining PEFC certification and translates policy into practical management. "Certification helps us make visible what sustainable forest management means in practice," says Flier. "It enables forest owners to take responsibility and shows that their work contributes to nature, climate, and society."

In the coming months, new episodes will feature experts from various sectors sharing their experiences with sustainable forest management and the responsible use of wood, paper, and cardboard. Interested viewers can subscribe on the website to receive notifications about new episodes.
