Award for flower-rich and low-maintenance verge
JUB Holland has won the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Award 2025 in the United Kingdom. The company received the award in the category Sustainable Product of the Year - Soft Landscaping for its concept The Vibrant Verge. The award ceremony took place during the FutureScape / Public Spaces Expo at London ExCeL.

The Vibrant Verge combines sustainably grown, naturalizing flower bulbs with a mix of native wild herbs from seed. The result is a flower-rich verge that blooms for up to eight months a year. The planting enhances biodiversity, provides food for pollinators, and requires minimal maintenance. The jury described the concept as "a smart investment that replaces monotonous vegetation with a flower-rich ribbon bringing color and ecological value for 240 days a year." With over 35 flowering species, it creates a habitat for insects, birds, and small mammals, requiring only one mowing per year.

Dutch concept gains international traction
The Vibrant Verge is the international version of the Dutch concept De Bonte Berm, developed in collaboration with Heem Natuurlijke Vegetaties and other partners. The concept is practical to maintain and attractive to both pollinators and residents. JUB Holland also congratulates the other finalists: Niche, Wildflower Turf Ltd, Garden on a Roll, and Kent Seeds.
