At the end of the summer of 2024, H. Visser Hoveniers from Papendrecht completed the landscaping of a rooftop terrace in Dordrecht. The terrace is located on the sixth floor and offers a view of the Beneden Merwede River.

The planting on the rooftop terrace features an old olive tree as the central element, complemented by a large fig tree and lower-growing Carex plants. On the river side, two holly specimens and a large false holly (Osmanthus) have been planted. Nearly all of the planting is evergreen, ensuring the terrace remains green throughout the year. All planters are equipped with a Gardena micro-drip irrigation system that automatically waters the plants during dry periods. Aluminium planters from ADEZZ in fitting RAL colors
The planting scheme was designed with a Mediterranean look in mind. In consultation with the supplier, the client selected a combination of olive, fig, holly, false holly, and Carex from the CityTree assortment.
The materials were expertly lifted to the sixth floor using a truck-mounted crane from Ridderkerks Kraan Bedrijf (RKB).
