The grass concrete solutions are permeable. Thanks to their open structure, rainwater can infiltrate into the soil. This helps reduce pressure on the sewer system and retain water locally. At the same time, space is created for greenery within the paving, which can help limit heat stress.
New designs for different applications
The new range includes the Leaf and Facet tiles, which allow variation in patterns and green integration. For heavier-duty locations such as parking areas and squares, the Matrix and Flow slabs have been developed. These are suitable for applications where traffic is involved. According to sales manager Hidde Vermaas, combining functions is a key principle: 'With these solutions, we make it easier to integrate paving, greenery and water management into a single design.'

Organic shapes in public space
In addition to paving products, Schellevis is also introducing new seating elements. These include circular elements and a modular bench, Curve. They align with the trend towards more organic shapes in outdoor spaces. The seating elements are intended for use in parks, squares and other areas where people stay. They can be used as part of the design of meeting and gathering places.
Suitable for various projects
The products are suitable for a wide range of applications, from private gardens to public squares and parking areas. Due to their permeable properties, they can help manage peak rainfall and reduce flooding. Schellevis produces concrete elements for outdoor spaces and focuses on applications where paving and spatial design come together.
