Allett introduced the new Omnia range of professional pedestrian mowers during BTME 2026 in Harrogate. The series marks an important step in the electrification of maintenance machinery for stadiums, sports complexes and other intensively managed turf surfaces.
The Omnia range has been developed entirely from scratch and is based on five years of product development. The machines combine high battery capacity, direct drive and a strong focus on ease of use and low-maintenance operation. According to Allett, Omnia represents a redesign of how electric pedestrian mowers are built and managed.
Battery performance and direct drive
At the core is the Vanguard Commercial Lithium-Ion battery pack, with a capacity of up to 7.0 kWh on the larger models. According to the manufacturer, this delivers up to 20 percent more capacity than comparable professional battery mowers. The batteries are supplied with an eight-year warranty. The direct drive consists of two 1000 W motors for the rear roller and a 2000 W blade motor. This eliminates chains, belts and differentials, resulting in quieter operation, higher efficiency and more consistent mowing performance.
Ease of use and maintenance
The Omnia series includes features such as Smart Steering Assist, automatic recognition of attachments and a Nexus™ coupling system that allows mowing heads to be changed without lifting. A colour display shows information including speed, blade speed, maintenance alerts and battery status.
By minimising wear components, maintenance requirements are expected to be significantly reduced. In addition to mowing, the machine can be used for scarifying, grooming, brushing and deeper cultivation, thanks to a wide range of interchangeable heads.
'With this innovation, Allett Mowers is taking an important step forward in battery mowers and turf maintenance for stadiums,' said supplier Milati Grass Machines in a message on LinkedIn.
