GTM Professional 1300 under the microscope
The standard GTM Professional 1300 chips branches up to 10 centimeters in diameter. This chipper features a wide, low feed and is extremely compact with a width of just 77 centimeters. Transporting this machine is easy thanks to the sturdy bumper and metal lashing eyes. The engine is mounted on a plate with anchor bolts for easy belt tension adjustment. Safety is paramount with an easily accessible emergency stop bar. Thanks to anti-vibration rubbers, you'll experience fewer shocks and vibrations.
With wheel drive
The GTM Professional 1300 series comes in various versions, including the self-propelled 1300WD. This wheel-driven model is ideal if you need to cover greater distances. With the built-in battery, you can get about 6 kilometers on flat ground and 2 kilometers on hilly or muddy terrain. The drive system can handle slopes up to 15 degrees. Two pneumatic tires and two swivel wheels offer optimal maneuverability when moving the machine. Its compact dimensions mean it fits easily in your van or on your trailer.

Big brother for heavy-duty work
The GTM Professional 1800 series is built for heavy-duty work. Equipped with a powerful Honda (21hp) or Loncin (24hp) engine, this beast effortlessly chips branches up to 12 centimeters in diameter. A new compost variant of the 1800 has recently been released, with both a high discharge and a low discharge for soft materials like ornamental grasses, leaves, and hedge clippings. Tanguy Noesen says, "For professional forestry work, I wouldn't want any machine other than the 1800. The combination of power and speed makes things a lot easier. This machine handles large volumes of thick branches effortlessly and is built to withstand tough conditions."
Tracks
The 1300 and 1800 models are also available with tracks in addition to wheel drive. The 18-centimeter-wide tracks make the machine suitable for rough and muddy terrain. The tracked undercarriage for both machines is 72 centimeters wide, allowing for easy maneuvering through narrow passages. The undercarriage of the 1800R, for example, is powered by a Honda GX160 engine and features three forward speeds and one reverse. It can handle slopes up to 20 degrees.

You can convert a tracked chipper into a dumper to move branches, logs, paving, or other heavy materials on the job site. For this, GTM Professional has launched the GTRD500 dumper with a hydraulic tipping system. It has a loading capacity of 500 kilograms. To save costs, you only need to purchase a conversion kit if you want to turn your tracked wood chipper into a dumper. Once the hydro kit is installed, switching between the wood chipper and dumper on the tracked chassis is very easy. With just one wrench and a lifting device, you can convert the machine within fifteen minutes.
